Start with loading, the selected program and routine cleaning. Stop if there is a serious leak, burning smell or electrical problem.
Dishes are still dirty
Check that spray arms can rotate, filters are seated correctly and items are not shielding each other. Use a program suitable for the soil and a fresh dishwasher detergent. Clean blocked spray holes only as the manual directs.
Dishes are wet
Quick programs may provide limited drying. Plastic also holds less heat than ceramic and often stays wetter. Check rinse aid, loading and the selected drying option. Do not assume a drying fault from plastic items alone.
Cloudy glasses
Water hardness, salt setting, detergent dose and rinse aid can affect appearance. Some glass corrosion is permanent. Review the water-softener settings and use a glass program for suitable items.
Unpleasant smell
Remove trapped food, clean filters and wipe the door edges. Run the approved machine-care program. Do not mix bleach, descaler, vinegar or other chemicals.
Water remains inside
A small amount near the filter may be normal. A tub full of dirty water is not. Turn off power before checking the user-cleanable filter, and inspect the visible drain hose for a kink. Do not open pumps or electrical panels.
Water appears on the floor
Stop the program, avoid wet electrical areas and turn off the water if safely accessible. Check for excess foam caused by the wrong detergent. A continuing leak needs professional attention.
